Our program focuses on men, connecting them with resources to support their recovery and personal growth.We emphasize connection, respect, honesty, responsibility, and service. By leveraging community services, we help participants gain skills for thriving in life, addressing mental, emotional, physical health, spiritual guidance, life skills, employment, education, transportation, and housing.
This program isn’t just about providing a place to live; it’s about supporting individuals to thrive without substances, requiring active participation from each member.
Our Fatherhood Empowerment Initiative is designed to help dads in recovery rebuild strong, healthy relationships with their children and families. Through peer father mentorship, weekly Dad Groups held every Wednesday, and access to parenting education, we support fathers in developing the skills and confidence needed to lead their families well.
We also provide a safe, welcoming father–child visitation space where meaningful connections can be restored, along with advocacy and support to help fathers navigate court systems, custody, and family services. This initiative is about more than recovery—it’s about restoring families, breaking generational cycles, and creating lasting change.
RRTN Lawncare is a purpose-driven social enterprise that provides high-quality lawncare services while creating meaningful employment opportunities for men rebuilding their lives in recovery. Every member of our team is an alumnus of Recovery Resources TN and in long-term recovery, bringing lived experience, commitment, and pride to the work they do.
Our crews deliver reliable, detail-oriented lawncare services while modeling the power of recovery, responsibility, and second chances. Through this work, our team members continue building stability, leadership, and independence while giving back to the community. Every yard we service supports a larger mission—showing that recovery is possible and that meaningful, productive lives can be rebuilt.
Recovery Resources TN partners with First Tennessee Development District and Caring Workplaces—supported in part by Tennessee Opioid Abatement funding—to provide education and workforce development opportunities for individuals in recovery. Through Workplace Excellence classes, participants build essential soft skills such as communication, accountability, and professionalism needed for long-term employment success.
In partnership with Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT), participants also have access to Special Industry classes and pathways to short- and long-term certifications. These opportunities equip individuals with marketable skills, increase employability, and support long-term financial stability.
This initiative bridges the gap between recovery and sustainable employment, empowering individuals to build meaningful careers and successful futures.
